WHEAT:
Punjab
being the granary of India has maintained its lead over all other
states in the contribution of food grains to the central pool. The
Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department along with its
various agencies watches the interest of the farmers and to maintain
the minimum support price.
